Nemo Hornet 1P – 1-person Tent

Award-winning 1-person tent for touring off the beaten track – the Hornet by Nemo. The lightweight but roomy tent is the perfect companion for trekking, cycling or kayaking tours. In terms of material, the Hornet 1P has been pared down for weight optimisation. Lightweight but robust materials have been used both for the flysheet and the floor and inner tent. PU coating on the flysheet and floor make both waterproof. An additional silicone coating enormously increases the UV resistance of the materials and the lifespan of the tent. And talking of lifespan: It can be significantly improved by using a footprint to protect the thin floor against damage by sharp stones or any branches or thorns that are lying around. You should generally handle the ultra-lightweight tent with care to preserve the functionality of its high-quality materials. Extremely lightweight Featherlite Aluminium poles by DAC have been used for the frame. This creates a minimalistic and stable frame that can withstand wind and weather.

Smart design elements give the tent its great interior. The raised floor is three-dimensionally guyed at the foot end to create a spacious foot section. Two of the innovative and extremely lightweight FlyBars create extra headroom in the roof without increasing the weight of the tent. The poles and guy lines are colour-coded for intuitive and straightforward set-up. Bathe the inside of the tent in cosy light by putting your head torch into the light pockets – a real luxury.

Note: In stronger winds, it is important to properly anchor the tent so that it stands stable and secure.
